The Thesis

कोई ख़ास मिलने आया तो सोचा शक्ल सुधारें
पहुँचे आइने के पास तो सब धुंधला पाया
सोचने लगे उस मोक़े पे कि अब किसे सुधारें
आइने को साफ़ करें तो कुछ शक्ल सुधारे
ख़ुद को बदलने का जब नज़रिया दिखा तो पता चला
कि जिसके लिए शक्ल सुधारी वो दीदार मिट गया

Someone special came to meet, so I thought to mend my face.
I reached the glass, but found a blurry, clouded space.
I paused and asked, whose form am I to now restore?
Perhaps a cleaner pane will show me something more.
But when I turned my sight upon the seer, not the seen,
I found the one I primed myself for had slipped—unseen

The Mission

I'm making a mixtape called Songs of Heroes. 30 raw songs. Two languages. Six chapters.

I recorded every song alone, with just my voice and my guitar. This mixtape is about the emotions we've all felt at some point. The ones we don't always say out loud. I won't produce this mixtape unless people say they want it. Because if you relate to these songs, then they're not mine anymore. They're ours.
